The 2014 Academy Awards have come and gone, and the clear winner of the night was Jared Leto (Who won the Oscar for Supporting Actor), for his outstanding speech which was given as a "thank you" to anyone who is struggling. First he thanked his mom, then went on to thank "all the dreamers out there around the world watching this tonight in places like the Ukraine and Venezuela, I want to say we are here and as you struggle to make your dreams happen, to live the impossible. We're thinking of you tonight."
He followed that up with, "This for the 36 million people who have lost the battle to AIDS and to those of you out there who have ever felt injustice because of who you are or who you love. Tonight I stand here in front of the world with you and for you." It will truly go down as one of the best Oscar speeches ever.
Ellen DeGeneres hosted for the second time and did a fantastic job. She was surprisingly edgy with some of her jokes, though of course with her friendly delivery, and it all came together so well. She also got pizza for everyone, which was delivered by a real pizza delivery person, not an actor. The place has delivered to The Ellen Show, hence the connection. Then took a picture (with the help of Bradley Cooper) that was the most re-tweeted photo on Twitter ever:
Gravity was the big winner of the night, taking home the most awards by owning all the technical awards as well as Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron. Sandra Bullock didn't get Best Actress, with that going to Cate Blanchett. Matthew McConaughey won Best Actor and gave an "Alright Alright Alright" reminiscent of David Wooderson during his speech, which fans of Dazed and Confused love of course. 12 Years a Slave took home Best Picture, and Lupita Nyong'o won Best Supporting Actress, and she also gave a beautiful speech much like Leto.
"Let it Go" from Frozen beat out "Happy" by Pharrell and "Ordinary Love" by U2 for best song. John Travolta mistakenly pronounced Idina Menzel's name as Adele Nazim. Talk about butchering a name. Maybe Adele Nazim is her Scientology name? Jennifer Lawrence fell again, tripping over a cone on the red carpet. She laughed about it of course, like a champ.
Take a spin in a time suck of all things Pop Culture. TV, Music, Movies, Sports, Games, other shit!

Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry & Courteney Cox Reunite
Friends fans are eagerly awaiting a reunion someday, but this may have to do for now.
In preparation for co-hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer Aniston looks for advice from Matthew Perry, who co-hosted a few weeks ago. Courteney Cox makes an appearance as well in Perry's house, and the three of them also mention David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc in some form during the funny little segment. Its the closest we've gotten to having the six original Friends cast members together, so enjoy it for now!

Pixar Announces 'Finding Dory'
Finding Nemo 2 has a new name: Finding Dory. I remember joking that this would be the title, and now it actually is! It didn't take rocket science to figure that might be the idea of the sequel, since they have to find someone. The original Finding Nemo crew is back together. Andrew Stanton will once again direct the sequel, Ellen DeGeneres will be back as Dory, and Albert Brooks will return as Marlin. One can assume the plot will focus on Dory getting lost. Stanton also said the film will take place a year after the first and take place on the California coast. Our favorite characters are back, as well as new ones who are part of Dory's life.
"I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said DeGeneres. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory."
Finding Dory will hit theaters on November 25, 2015 in time for Thanksgiving.

Tips For Winter Storm Nemo
Winter Storm Nemo is approaching the Northeast with a ton of snow ready to be dumped, then some strong wind to blow it all around for good measure to mess up your car or sidewalk should you try and clean them halfway through the storm.
Here are some tips for staying busy during the storm before eventually heading out for some winter snow fun.
1 - Watch Finding Nemo. This one is a no-brainer. Remember just how much you love Nemo when you feel like cursing the name that locked you in the house on a Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) will help provide some comic relief to your night. And don't forget that they are making a Finding Nemo 2! Maybe they should name more storms after our favorite Pixar characters? Certainly makes them seem less intimidating. Plus, we should all understand where Nemo is coming from. I would be incredibly pissed if Pixar made Cars 2 before Finding Nemo 2 also.
2 - AMC will be airing a marathon of The Walking Dead seasons 2 and 3 this weekend leading up to the return of the show on Sunday night. What better way to spend stuck inside than with our favorite zombies and zombie killers? Seeing Michonne (Danai Gurira) slice of some zombie heads with her sword and giving The Governor (David Morrissey) an eye full of glass is a nice way to spend an afternoon.
3 - Break out the Super Nintendo, Sega Dreamcast, N64 or any video game console from the 90s. Was there anything better than playing "Mario Party" or "Sonic" during a Snow Day? Or the classic 90s Disney games?
4 - Dust off those Frosty the Snowman DVD's and remember just how much you love the snow. Okay maybe not Blizzard level snow...but when its all said and done it will make for some great sledding, football, igloo and snowman building.

Toy Story 4 & Finding Nemo 2
Ellen DeGeneres is getting her wish. Pixar & Disney will be releasing "Finding Nemo 2" and "Toy Story 4". Andrew Stanton will be back to direct "Finding Nemo 2", and Ellen DeGeneres will presumably be back to voice Dory considering she has been pushing for them to make a sequel on her hit talk show. Currently it is set to be released in 2016, which can always be changed.
"Toy Story 4" is also in the pipelines apparently. There was some doubt since the trilogy was wrapped up nicely with Toy Story 3, including two wins at the Academy Awards (Best Song, Best Animated Film) and a nomination for Best Picture. But the hit film made over a billion dollars at the worldwide box office, and attained a ton of praise from critics and fans. Now "Toy Story 4" has not been officially confirmed by Pixar, but Tom Hanks recently said it is happening and now with the "Finding Nemo 2" news, many a speculating this will be announced next. So the "Toy Story" news might still be false, but I doubt Hanks would have said anything if it wasn't happening. So if it's false, then blame Mr Hanks.
So excuse my french here, but children must get the fuck out of my way when these films come out, they're mine (and yours, of course).

One Million Moms: Get A LIFE
So there is this group called "One Million Moms", who made some news for trying to get JCPenney to fire Ellen DeGeneres, simply because she is a lesbian. First of all, they aren't "One Million"...they have 800 twitter followers. Even I have more! Pathetic. They need to get a life and stop being hateful bored housewives with nothing better to do. Ellen does more to help people than these stupid twits will ever do. You close-minded bigots can Suck It, simply put.
Howard Stern came out in support of Ellen and lashed out at this hate group in his own colorful way. They also attacked him recently by asking people to boycott NBC and America's Got Talent, which he begins in the summer. Be sure to watch!
Even Bill O'Reilly came out and defended Ellen, lashing out at the head woman of "One Million Moms." No matter what you think of him, he is smart enough to know that these hateful groups give others a bad name.
Make sure you support the new and improved JCPenney! They really have great deals. And it will piss off a bunch of hateful assholes in the process.

Sophia Grace & Rosie at the Grammy Museum
Sophia Grace and Rosie, everyones favorite energetic children from Essex, England are back! For those who have been living under a rock, they are the latest and youngest members of the British Invasion, following in the footsteps of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Spice Girls and David Beckham. They performed a spot-on version of "Super Bass" by Nicki Minaj on YouTube, and quickly caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres. Well, Sophia Grace performed it, with Rosie acting as her "hype girl." They appeared on the Ellen Show and since then, captured the attention of people all over. Here's the first Ellen Show appearance and when they met Nicki Minaj:
Now they have their own YouTube channel and recently visited the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles for their "Sophia Grace and Rosie Show." Admit it, you want to see them running around the Grammy Museum. Sophia Grace makes her own rap song, and does a great job, as well as spontaneously bursting out into performances of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, "All My Loving" by The Beatles and "Firework" by Katy Perry. Oh, and she tells Slash to eat his heart out! Dear Ellen, please bring them back on your show in 2012!
