Olsen Twins Open To 'Fuller House'

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen didn't find out about the Netflix Full House reboot, Fuller House, until everyone else did. They've since been asked about the show, and are open to reprising their role of Michelle Tanner, but aren't certain. Mary Kate said they'll talk to the creators, and Ashley said she's going to call Bob Saget and get his perspective.

If they decide not to join the series, the creators could always explain their absence in multiple ways. The best would be to say that Michelle slipped into a coma following repercussions from her head injury when she fell off the horse in the series finale and had memory loss.

So far returning to the series will be Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) & the ageless John Stamos (Uncle Jesse). The others are all still possible for a return. The premise of the show will revolve around DJ being a recent widow with three boys, calling upon Kimmy and Stephanie to help out. Basically a flip of the original. Hopefully it will be just as gloriously cheesy!

Robin Williams Dead At 63

Actor Robin Williams was tragically found dead in his home at age 63, confirmed by his wife and publicist.

Apparently it was a suicide by asphyxiation, and police in Marin County, CA were alerted around 12 PM and found him in his home. The news had caused his wikipedia page to briefly crash with so many people flooding to it.

Williams had battled alcohol and drugs in the past, and recently went back into rehab this past July. He talked openly in the past about dealing with depression and recently it had returned, possibly triggering his suicide. Its sad news, and we often forget that just because someone is a famous comedian playing happy, funny characters in big movies and TV shows, that doesn't mean they can't have problems in real life just like anyone else.

Since rising to fame in 1978 on the show "Mork and Mindy", he made millions laugh with roles in many incredibly popular movies, especially during the 90s with a string of hit family movies. However, he also took on many more dramatic roles as well. Here's just a sampling:
1987: Good Morning, Vietnam.
1989: Dead Poets Society
1991: Hook
1992: Aladdin
1993: Mrs. Doubtfire
1995: Jumanji
1997: Good Will Hunting
1998: Flubber
2002: One Hour Photo
2006: Happy Feet
2009: Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
2013: The Butler

Its Morphin' Time Again! Power Rangers Returning to the Big Screen

In another 90s throwback, The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are returning to the big screen. Lionsgate and Saban are working together to start a new franchise, and it will presumably be based on the original and most popular form of the Power Rangers before they started having a new concept every year.

The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers ran for three seasons from 1993 to 1995 along with a successful movie in 1995 before reverting to using entirely different characters each season, which is actually still going to this day. The second movie in 1997, "Turbo", with new characters flopped at the box office. No word on if the movie will be as campy as the TV Show and original film, or if they're looking to make it a more serious version along the lines of modern superhero movies.

One thing we know they probably won't do with this movie...they won't have the black power ranger be black and the yellow power ranger be Asian like in the original. I mean the producers had to realize they did that.

Blockbuster Stores Closing Completely

There are currently 300 physical Blockbuster stores left in the United States. By January of 2014, all stores will be closed, signaling the end of an era.

Blockbuster Video first opened in 1985, and quickly rose to prominence. Wayne Huizenga (former Miami Dolphins & Marlins owner) purchased Blockbuster in 1987 and the chain started to grow, becoming a massively successful company in the 1990s which continued into the early 2000s. With the quick rise of convenient digital items, streaming services like Netlflix and OnDemand rentals through cable companies, Blockbuster quickly went downhill in the late 2000s and filed for bankruptcy in 2010. Dish Network purchased the company which has kept the remaining stores alive for the past few years, though 2014 marks the end of all physical Blockbuster stores.

Anyone who grew up in the 90s and early 2000s probably has fond memories of walking into a Blockbuster store as a kid and seeing what seemed like miles of movies and video games to rent down long aisles. And also remembers rushing to the store to try and slide the Video/DVD/game into the slot in time to not get the high fees added to your card.
A sight you'll never see again after 2014

Best of TLC

The TLC biopic 'CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story' premiered last night on VH1 detailing the highs and lows of the girl group that rose to massive fame during the 90s. Keke Palmer, Lil' Mama and Drew Sidora all looked perfect for their roles as Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes & Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and all had the unique look of TLC down to a T. The big story from the film will be their issues with former manager Pebbles, who managed to buy them their first (used) cars...with their own money. Aw, how nice. TLC are currently recording a new studio album, and no they won't be replacing Left Eye, who died in a car crash in 2002 before the release of their last album, 3D. So before we hear some new material, let's take a look at their 10 best songs.

1. Waterfalls (CrazySexyCool, 1994) - Like there would be any other candidate for TLC's best song? The song spent seven weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Something people will always remember about the track is the accompanying music video (back when those were still a big deal on TV), which had one scene where the ladies we're transformed into water using the latest computer technology at the time. It also highlighted the dangers of HIV & drug use, continuing the groups message of safe sex that began with their earlier music videos.

2. Damaged (3D, 2002) - "Damaged" benefits from having live instruments in the background, and the awesome guitar work meshes very well with Chilli & T-Boz's vocals to create possibly the strongest song in their catalogue.

3. Unpretty (FanMail, 1999) - "Unpretty" continued the TLC trend of songs with a positive message. In this case is was all about self esteem and being proud of who you are regardless of what others think. The track blends Pop, R&B and Rock to create an all around well rounded song.

4. Baby-Baby-Baby (Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip, 1992) - TLC's first big ballad, the sultry and seductive sound would become a trademark of the group through all their other releases.

5. Creep (CrazySexyCool, 1994) - Well, this was a different kind of message. About a woman who knows her man is cheating on her, so she gets back at him by doing the exact same thing. The real reason this is one of their best is just the infectious nature of the song. Try listening to it without getting it stuck in your head.

6. Turntable (3D, 2002) - "Turntable" is their tribute to Left Eye, who died a few months before the album was released. Its a song that doubles as both a fitting tribute to Left Eye, as well as a song that everybody can relate to.

7. Red Light Special (CrazySexyCool, 1994) - "Red Light Special" is perhaps the groups most seductive and sultry song. They amped up the maturity and sexuality on CrazySexyCool, and this soulful song is a perfect representation of that.

8. What About Your Friends (Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip, 1992) - TLC's first album is heavy on the new jack swing that was popular at the time, and this is one of the many songs that incorporates that into the pop & hip hop that permeates the track. The video showcases their fun and wild personalities, and you really can't beat the bright neon 90s style.

9. No Scrubs (FanMail, 1999) - Another infectious song with a beat that can't escape your head, the version featured in the music video is a bit better than the album version, as it includes an awesome rap by Left Eye that fits so well with the song. You couldn't escape this song in the spring and summer of 1999.

10. Meant To Be (20, 2013) - 20 is their greatest hits album that was released to coincide with the biopic, and "Meant To Be" represents the lone new track included. It stands fairly well with their hits, and continues the trend of a positive vibe as seen throughout their career. It's an enjoyable pop/R&B song that seems like a grower.

Best Quotes From 'Hocus Pocus'

Its been 20 years since 'Hocus Pocus' entered our lives and became one of the greatest Halloween themed movies of all time. It didn't break any records at the box office, though it was released in July. Whose genius decision was that? Regardless, it became a monster hit on VHS, then DVD and eventually Blu Ray as well as a Television staple that gets shown multiple times every fall (and even sometimes throughout the year). This cult classic will forever be a Halloween staple now, even if those damn critics gave it mediocre reviews. They missed just how quotable and endearing this whimsical film is. Here are some of the best quotes:

1. Jay and Ernie aka ICE are possibly the greatest high school bullies of all time, and here is one scene chock full of their quotes when they run into Max (Omri Katz) in the graveyard.

"Got any cash...Hollywoooooood?" "They're very health conscious in Los Angeles." "Check out the new cross trainers."

2. "I don't have any, what do you call them Max, yabbos? Max likes your yabbos. In fact, he loves them." -Dani (Thora Birch) to Allison (Vinessa Shaw)

3. "What are you supposed to be? A new kid on the block?" "For your information he's a Little Leaguer!" - Jay & Dani

4. "Thank you Max, for that mahhhhvelous introduction." -Winifred (Better Midler), because it is exactly how you'd imagine Bette Midler as a 17th century witch would say that.

5. "Aw man, how come it's the ugly chicks that always stay out late?" - Jay to Winifred, Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) & Mary (Kathy Najimy).

6. "We desire...Children." "Hey it may take me a couple tries but I don't think that would be a problem." - Winifred to the bus driver. Disney just loves to slip sexual innuendo's into family movies.

7. "Why was I cursed with such idiot sisters!" "Just lucky I guess." - Winifred & Sarah.

8. "Sisters look, it's the chocolate covered finger of a man named Clark." - Mary, about a Clark Bar.

9. Sarah yelling "Amok!" over and over before Winifred hits her.

10. "You wanna look in windows and watch babes undress?" "It's 3AM, they're undressed already." Ice & Jay before getting caught by the Sanderson Sisters.

Amanda Bynes Arrested; Meltdown Continues

The downfall of Amanda Bynes ("All That", "The Amanda Show", "Hairspray", "Easy A") has scarred the memories of countless 90s kids. Her strange antics have been all over the news for a while now, and only seem to be getting worse. She was arrested after throwing her bong out of the window of her 36th-floor apartment onto the street below. She was smoking pot in the lobby, and her apartment was filled with smoke so the cops were called, and when they walked in that is when she decided to throw the bong. In court, where she was seen wearing a wig that looks more like a bird's nest/halloween costume and one plastic nail on her middle finger, she claimed it was a "vase". Then in the cab ride, she only had $20 on her for a $27 fare. She lives in a luxury apartment building, yet only had $20 on her?

Amanda Bynes' Mugshot
Apparently her apartment looks like a scene out of the (recently cancelled) show Intervention, with an empty living room except for blinds and a mattress with no sheets. I'm thinking her parents need to stage a real one soon and get her some help. She clearly has mental issues right now and needs to be in a hospital getting help. She has also continued her bizarre twitter messages about the singer Drake and various other people. And anyone who tries to question her antics, she calls "Ugly" and says they are the ones with problems...

Lindsay Lohan has some competition, though Bynes is far behind in the mugshot department. At least Lohan seems coherent though. This is rivaling the Britney Spears escapades of 2007/2008. She also went on a Random twitter tirade against Rihanna, calling her ugly, a dog and saying that's why Chris Brown beat her. I don't like Rihanna, but she had the absolute perfect comeback by saying, "Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?" Took the words out of my mouth!

Unintentionally Funny 90s Moments: 'Full House' vs 'Saved By The Bell'

We have a 90s smackdown today between two unintentionally funny Television moments. In one corner, the episode of Full House where DJ (Candace Cameron) develops an eating disorder and faints in the gym. In the other corner, the episode of Saved By The Bell where Jessie (Elizabeth Berkley) becomes addicted to caffeine pills. Both of these episodes aired in November 1990, perhaps they were trying to one-up each other?

Full House: "Shape Up" (Season 4). Full House is known for having many episodes where a valuable lesson is learned. By the end of the episode, everything is back in order along with the same corny background music to put an emphasis on what we all learned. And in this episode, we learned: Starving yourself is bad. Its even worse when your snot-faced little sister is there to tattle on you. And you'll partially faint after using a StairMaster. (Really though people, don't starve yourself, food tastes so damn good.)
Best Line: "Doesn't anybody care about dental hygiene around here?!?"

Saved By The Bell: "Jessie's Song" (Season 2). Between midterms and the demands of her singing group, Jessie was really feeling the pressure. So she turns to...caffeine pills! Instead of passing out like DJ, she has a hyper-nervous breakdown in front of Zach (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) that has become the stuff of legend. Once YouTube started to take off, this was one of the first sitcom videos to go viral.
Best Line: "I'm so excited!...I'm SO EXCITED...I'M SO...scared."
The winner: Jessie Spano! The clip has been remixed into various forms on YouTube, and has become one of the most quoted moments from any 80s/90s sitcom. You can even buy t-shirts that reference this classic TV scene. I'll never understand how it was ignored by the Emmy Awards.

90s Family Movies You Shouldn't Forget

The 90s were a great time for G & PG-rated movies. The many animated Pixar and Disney films that came out in the 90s will never be forgotten, as well as other hits like Beethoven, Home Alone & Hocus Pocus. However, there were plenty more that you may not have seen in a long time, and you should remember. You don't have to line up your Beanie Babies and pop in the VHS anymore to watch them, but if they ever come on TV, don't change the channel.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993). If you've forgotten Chance, Shadow and Sassy, then you should turn in your 90s kid card. This is a remake of a 1963 original simply called The Incredible Journey, but this is one of the rare examples where the remake is better. The voice cast is pretty top notch as well. Michael J. Fox voiced Chance the American Bulldog, Sally Field was Sassy the cat, and Don Ameche was Shadow the Golden Retriever. Clearly the three pets go on an incredible journey (Duh!) when they think their family left them. When they finally return home, you probably cried when just Sassy & Chance came up the hill. And then a wave of happiness swept over you when the old Shadow finally showed up for a satisfyingly happy 90s ending.

We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993). This was produced by Steven Spielberg's animation studio  Amblimation, and came out in the fall after Spielberg's blockbuster Jurassic Park. Genius! It should be considered one of the top non-Disney/Pixar animated films of the 90s. Does it get better than watching lovable, friendly dinosaurs on an adventure to try and get into the Museum of Natural History? At one point, they get disguised as Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade floats. And in real life, they created an actual balloon for the 1993 Thanksgiving parade, which is infamous for having the head of the Rex balloon get pierced by a street light. Now that's how you create some buzz.

The Land Before Time Series. The original Land Before Time actually came out in 1988, and was a big VHS hit during the 90s. It also spawned a ton of direct-to-video sequels throughout the 90s, that were probably only beaten in persistence by all those endless Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen movies. More on them later. Again, maybe the massive popularity of Jurassic Park had something to do with that. Here's to hoping that Jurassic Park 4 will once again spawn some more dinosaur hysteria in the entertainment world.

Jumanji (1995). Kirsten Dunst, Bonnie Hunt, David Alan Grier and Robin Williams, during the height of his popularity, brought this unique tale to life. Everyone wanted a real version of this jungle board game that comes to life after seeing the film. We're still patiently waiting. We also never got a sequel, even though the open-ended ending might have allowed for one. It probably would've sucked though. By the way, the two kids who hear the beating board game in the sand at the end were speaking French. I always thought it was Chinese, please tell me I'm not the only one?

It Takes Two (1995). Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen were 90s royalty. The Full House stars also became billionaires at a young age thanks to owning Dualstar, their video company, which made all their films from 1993-2004. The only one Dualstar didn't was 1992's Christmas classic To Grandmother's House We Go. The best of all their movies though, is It Takes Two, also starring Kirstie Alley, Steve Guttenberg and Jane Sibbett (Carol from Friends!). The film is pretty typical & predictable, but a fun one at that. Not to mention it does a solid job capturing day camp in the 90s.

The Rugrats Movie (1998). Nickelodeon did a very smart thing by starting their movie studio during the 90s, the greatest time for the network. Harriet the Spy, Good Burger (with Kenan Thompson pre-SNL) and Snow Day are all classics for 90s kids, but The Rugrats Movie was without a doubt the biggest of all. The show ran from 1991-2004 on Nickelodeon, and the film came out during the best years of the show. It was so big that the theme song for the film, "Take Me There" by Blackstreet & Mya reached #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song incorporates the actual theme song from the show.

Microsoft Longs For The 90s

Microsoft has released a video to tap into all the 90s kids who used to use their Internet Explorer browser during the dial-up days, to try and get us interested in Internet Explorer 10. I saw this right on the heels of my 90s nostalgia article, so perfect timing!

The video has gone viral and attracted a lot of attention, as well as praise, whichis of course what Microsoft was intending. However, I think it will take more than an outstanding video to bring back some of the lost Internet Explorer users. The video features POGS, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Tamagotchi, Lisa Frank and the Floppy Disc among others. Its a welcome sight to see all of these 90s relics in a beautifully crafted video.

They've also built a website around the whole theme, which I'd also suggest checking out. The site features a ton of great photos to waste some time. 90s nostalgia is clearly hot right now, so lace up your Reebok Pumps and enjoy it.

Relics of the 1990s

So like many people, I had a severe case of 90s nostalgia. Its a popular and exciting illness that takes you back to the time of America Online, parachute pants and TRL. Now, there are obvious 90s memories most of us have, like Beanie Babies, Tamagotchi and Furby (Original) among others. What about some of the more forgotten relics of the 90s? I've tried to think of a few.

Yak Bak - Yak Bak was exciting for kids because it actually recorded your voice...and played it back! Now this was a time before smart phones had an app for that. It didn't really do much though. You could record SIX whole seconds...not so exciting anymore. It actually makes it seem like we were ripped off. Though some future ones had other features like voice warping. Not a bad tool for a 90s kid. This gadget was the definition of a fad...it was popular for a few years in the mid-90s and soon vanished when Y2K hit us (well, didn't hit us). As a matter of fact...maybe the Yak Bak was the Y2K casualty that nobody cared about? We were all worried about our Gateway & Packard Bell computers, but it was the Yak Bak which was killed by Y2K. RIP.

Yikes! Pencils - Its a known fact that if you did not own one of these psychedelic, multi-colored pencils, you were not cool. They were flashy and just screamed "90s!" right at your face. Its as if Nickelodeon exploded off the TV and into your pencil case. Sadly you don't see these around anymore. I think us 90s kids should band together and get them back so they can infiltrate the world once more, this time in the workplace. We all need a little bright ass color in our day.

Book It! - Book It! was the reading program that you remember from either school, or more importantly, from PIZZA HUT. Let's face it, Pizza Hut was a much better option for getting kids to read than school was. You could get a free personal pizza just for reading. This might actually still be around...but obviously would not be as good as it used to be. Just like Pizza Hut itself. Seriously Pizza Hut, get it together. Get some old arcade games and make your restaurants exciting again. Then nobody will care how bad the pizza tastes. (Though you can work on that too.)

See any that you owned in this pile?
Pogs - Pogs were incredibly popular, and most people still remember them. However, they still seem to get lost in the shuffle of 90s nostalgia, falling behind the likes of Beanie Babies and the Spice Girls. People did more collecting of Pogs rather than actually playing the game, but doing both was a part of a 90s childhood as much as eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch while watching Power Rangers was. Pogs became so popular that they ended up making licensed ones for everything from TV shows & movies to sports teams. I still have one plastic case full of some buried in a drawer somewhere.

Early 90s Miami Dolphins Zubaz
Finally, remember Zubaz? The crazy zebra colored clothing that everyone wore? They were made popular by people looking to work out and make a statement besides grunting and for supplying the NFL with some licensed gear.  Well....they're back! Yes, you can actually buy Zubaz printed apparel once again. As a kid who had the sweatpants, I think i'd consider rocking this loud attire once more. It allows you to carry around a bit of the 90s with you.

NRA Head Blames Mortal Kombat

Wayne LaPierre of the NRA blamed 'Mortal Kombat' and movies like 'American Psycho' and 'Natural Born Killers' for gun violence during a ridiculous press conference meant to address the Newtown Tragedy. Apparently he just walked out of 1994. This press conference was basically to protect gun manufacturers, not even the individual owners. The only bad thing Mortal Kombat has done was give the Kardashians the idea to chance every "C" to a "K".

Its nothing but a total cop out and PR stunt meant to deflect attention elsewhere, by focusing on the entertainment industry. What's next, going to blame a robbery on Catwoman? Well I can put a big fat stop to that argument right now.

1. Mortal Kombat and other video games are extremely popular in Japan, even more than in the USA. Yet Japan is also the safest country in the world, as well as one of the most peaceful. Apparently they aren't affected by seeing Raiden shoot lightning from his hands, or Kitana throw sharp fans. Try again NRA.

2. So what do you blame for all the violence before the 1990s? To name a few: Son of Sam, Charles Manson, Bonnie & Clyde, 1966 University of Texas shooter, Ted Bundy, Hitler & the Nazi's, the mafia & gangsters of the 20th century, the catholic church killing "heretics" during the inquisition, the KKK, etc. I didn't know they all had access to video games and action movies.

Its up to parents to take more responsibility. If they have a kid (or know an adult) with clear issues and mental problems, they need to keep them away from BOTH guns and violent entertainment, both of which millions of people enjoy without ever doing harm to others. So instead of throwing blame somewhere else, it would be wise to actually get out in communities to educate people and do your part to make the world a better place.

Sane people with guns don't kill, entertainment doesn't kill - Lunatics kill. The US needs to find a way to keep guns away from criminals & mentally ill people, and part of that means families need to step up. The NRA dropped the ball today, and should have addressed that to try and be part of the solution, rather than placing blame on fictional entertainment. They could have come out in support of "Smart Gun Technology", which uses fingerprints registered to the gun owner, so nobody else would be able to fire their gun. They claim its "expensive". So what, you can't put a price on safety. The auto industry has added so many safety enhancements to cars, such as multiple airbags as one example, which cost more money but keep people safer. But, I guess we shouldn't have expected anything better from them.

Ben Savage & Danielle Fishel Join Girl Meets World

90s kids can all rejoice today. One of our favorite shows from our favorite decade, Boy Meets World is returning to TV in sequel form with Girl Meets World. Yesterday it was confirmed that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel had signed on to reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga. The new series will air on the Disney Channel, so the jury is still out on if it will be any good, but let's hope! Original creator Michael Jacobs is developing it, so there is hope.

Girl Meets World is about their 13-year-old daughter Riley, and now Cory is a middle school teacher, exactly who he used to torment. No word on if Mr Feeny or any other original castmember besides Fishel & Savage will be back, but one can assume some might be. We all know the infamous Lauren from the Ski Lodge won't be.

Boy Meets World ran on ABC from 1993 to 2000, as part of the famous TGIF lineup. Because this new version is on the Disney Channel, does that mean it can't be as edgy as it should be? Hopefully they can find a good balance and make it more interesting than the corny kids shows currently on the Disney Channel. They're obviously going to attract a broader and older audience to this, at least initially.

Jurassic Park 3D Poster & Trailer

"65 Million Years in the making." 2013 marks the 20th Anniversary of the 1993 hit Jurassic Park, one of the greatest and most successful blockbuster movies of all time. The film is being re-released in 3D on April 5, 2013. If there is any movie that deserves the 3D re-release treatment, its this one. Who doesn't want to watch dinosaurs coming at them in 3D? Well, maybe people like Rick Santorum & Michele Bachmann who think the earth is just a few thousand years old, but that's another story. The best scene will have to be where the T-Rex is chasing the Jeep. Perfect for 3D.

The Steven Spielberg classic still looks outstanding, the combination of CGI and Animatronics make it look better than some movies that are released now. The 90s were a great time for advancements in movie technology, and Jurassic Park set the standard after Terminator 2: Judgment Day scratched the surface.

Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Samuel L Jackson all starred in it. Jurassic Park 4 is still on the horizon, though no word yet on which characters will be back. Anyway, the trailer for the 3D version is below, and while there is obviously nothing new, it still transports you back to when you first saw the film. It was one of the first movies I saw in theaters, and this is the type of movie you want to see on the big screen. I dare you not to get even the smallest amount of chills when the familiar music by John Williams kicks in.

No Doubt & Green Day Return

Two different bands who came together as youngsters in the late 1980s, rose to massive fame to help define music in the 1990s, then continued with success in the 2000s are back with their first new albums of the 2010s. For Green Day, their new album ¡Uno! comes just three years after their last effort. Its a different story for No Doubt, who last released a studio album in 2001.

Push and Shove
Push and Shove - No Doubt. The band took a hiatus from 2004 to 2008, during which Gwen Stefani released two solo albums and all of the band members had some babies. Push and Shove began in 2010, but didn't really get going until 2011 and 2012. However, the wait was well worth it for fans of the band, and you can hear why they didn't want to rush out an album to the masses. The 80s pop and ska sounds are still here, but it doesn't sound dated as the band found a way to keep it fresh. They're still just Southern California rockers who want to make you dance no matter what mood you're in. Oh, and Gwen's abs still look insanely good. The album, plus their old ones, are all on sale for $5.99 on Amazon MP3 this week only.
Top Songs: "Settle Down", "Looking Hot", "Push and Shove", "Undercover".

¡Uno!
¡Uno! - Green Day. Uno! is without a doubt a throwback album. After reaching a massive level of success with their politically charged rock opera American Idiot in 2004, they kept the theme going with 21st Century Breakdown in 2009. Its a solid album, but obviously was seen as the less successful sequel. ¡Uno! goes back to basics with quick hitting power-pop/punk songs that resemble their 90s work. They crafted so many songs that it will be followed by two more albums - ¡Dos! on November 13, 2012 and ¡Tre! on January 15, 2013. ¡Uno! and every other Green Day album are on sale for $5 this week only on Amazon MP3.
Top Songs: "Oh Love", "Carpe Diem", "Fell For You", "Rusty James".

Oh, and you can't mention the album without Billie Joe Armstrong's drunken tirade at the iHeartRadio festival, where he humorously proclaimed, "I'm not fucking Justin Bieber you motherfuckers!" He's since checked into rehab and will hopefully get better.

The Simpsons Reach 500 Episodes

Tonight at 8pm on FOX, The Simpsons will celebrate their 500th episode, titled "At Long Last Leave." The family realizes the rest of Springfield wants them gone, so they move away into the wilderness. Similar to The Simpsons Movie, but this episode will recall the entire history of the show that premiered in December 1989.

Even after all these years and criticisms that the show is not as good as it was in the 90s, it still delivers laughs and occasionally outstanding episodes capable of standing with those 90s episodes. Especially during the last few seasons, it seems like they have given us the best material we've seen in years. Early reviews say this episode is solid as well, especially the opening couch gag. This episode is a can't miss for fans of The Simpsons, including ones who haven't watched it in years. My favorite episodes from the past 5 years:
2007: "24 Minutes"
2008: "MyPods and Broomsticks"
2009: "Waverly Hills 9-0-2-1-D'oh"
2010: "Boy Meets Curl" & "The Squirt and the Whale". Both are amazing episodes, hard to pick just one.
2011: "Holidays of Future Passed"

Also, The Celebrity Apprentice returns for a new season tonight at 9pm on NBC. Donald Trump brings in a new cast capable of bringing the drama and high tempers. Teresa Giudice and Victoria Gotti, anyone? They reportedly did not get along too well. Sure to bring the laughs are Howard Stern Show favorites and Comedy Central roasters, comedienne Lisa Lampanelli and Star Trek alum George Takei.

U2's Zoo TV Tour: Bring It Back!

Okay, it's obviously not going to happen, but it would be amazing to go to to U2's 1992/1993 Zoo TV Tour. There really hasn't been anything like it since then. I wish I could be able to go see it, and a short re-done Zoo TV tour would be nice to see now. Of course, it won't happen, but if any concert tour setup/idea were to be brought back, Zoo TV would be the one to see. I wish more concerts would be more creative.

For those who don't know the idea of the show was part satire on TV, the media, and pop culture. TV monitors surrounded the stage. It's best to just watch footage.

YouTube is the next best thing, and there are tons of videos posted on there of the tour and the "Outside Broadcasts."
