The Dark Knight Rises is just 3 months away, and the latest issue of
Entertainment Weekly has a Summer Movie preview featuring Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Bruce Wayne as Batman on the cover.
This is the first official photo of Catwoman with her goggles pushed back to resemble cat ears. She is described in the magazine by Christopher Nolan as, "
a shifty cipher, calloused survivor and world-class criminal. She has a very strong way of protecting herself and those she cares about, which implies an underlying darkness." A photo inside the magazine shows her in front of an empty safe. Stealing, or being set up? Hmm. She is clearly the most complicated and mysterious character in the movie, and I can't wait to see the portrayal.
It looks like the marketing for The Dark Knight Rises will soon kick into gear (hopefully) and we will see more of Catwoman and Bane (Tom Hardy). I recommend picking up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly to see the high-res pictures and for even more information about the movie and other summer films like
Snow White & The Huntsman.
Dark Knight Rises is going to kick major ass when it comes out on July 20, 2012.
